Revenue That Webring Can't Afford? - 10/14/2006
I really feel that the 404 pages leased out to:

Copyright 2002-2005 Revenue Pilot Inc.

... are just a form of revenue that webring can't afford to collect right now. It's the kind of thing you see on a really cheap e-commerce site where no-one cares what the visitors think.

Surely whatever is made from these 404 pages could be made just as well by taking advertising from webring members on the self same 404 page. Little effort, 100% improvement in PR which is what webring really, really needs right now.

PS - How does one get into the ring managers forum? Is that for people who own rings (which I am) or a higher level of membership? Couldn't find any hint in the help files about that.

Would be nice to know which WebRing pages/URLs are being linked to those 404 pages and exactly what the 404 URLs are? It's extremely difficult for us to read minds, so details are essential.

You need to "join this forum" on the right hand side of the screen. Once you do this, you will be approved shortly.
